had amathematics re-timed assignment yesterday for trigonometry. it was totally hell, the original timed assignment was way easier. i couldn't believe myself when i got stuck while proving sec2θ-tan2θ=cosθ+sinθ/cosθ-sinθ. it is not difficult at all. thankfully i'm not the only one that is unhappy with the paper. many people don't know how to solve the questions. i know for sure i will not be able to pass. to think she emphasized that we are not supposed to fail...

sec4s had an arts learning journey today. most of us went to fort canning park to watch the musical "Giselle in the park". the story is about this girl, Giselle, who falls in love with a royal disguised as a peasant. Giselle's previous lover was very upset and discovers that the royal whom Giselle fell in love with is actually the fiancé of a princess from somewhere far far away. Giselle became good friends with the princess when she came to the village to look for the royal who went into hiding, not knowing they both loved the same man. when the royal came back to propose to Giselle, her jealous lover revealed to the village folk that the man is indeed a royalty with the seal of royalty on his sword. he sounded the horn and the princess came back, knowing that her lover is found. Giselle was deeply shocked by the sudden news and went mad, and kept dancing till she died. now in that village there was this legend. any girl who died for heart-broken before being wedded will turn into a vengeful spirit, known as willies to the villagers. they seek for men who walks into the forest where they are buried at midnight and dance until they died. however the spell only lasts till dawn breaks. Giselle was initiated into the willies after she died. both her lover and the royalty came by to visit her grave as both man loved her deeply as well. the willies caught her lover and he was cursed, having the willies dance around him until he died. the royalty was not spared either, even when Giselle begged the queen of willies. Giselle then protected the royalty from being cursed by dancing with him till dawn break and the willies were forced back into their graves. the royalty took Giselle back to her grave and bade farewell to her, having to go back to his rightful wife. Giselle then went back into her grave, having to live an eternity as one of the willies. the musical is wonderful, from costumes to the way the story was brought out by the performers, from the melodious tunes to the graceful movements. i really don't regret having to rush home, take a shower and quickly rush out again despite the light drizzle and having to feed the mosquitoes at fort canning.

inez commented that my dressing today looked like i was going to dance hiphop -_- for goodness sake i can't dance just like that. i am not experienced at all other than one miserable year in chinese dance back in pri1 which is hell long ago. larissa asked me the other day if i wanted to go for contemporary dance sessions with her like after our o levels, maybe i will really follow. it's not like i am against dance, but without proper guidance to get me on track, i will be like a blind man reading a signpost to find my direction. also known as getting no where s:

" I solemnly promise that I will not touch sushi for the next six months." so whoever that catches me lusting after the sushi can give me a box on my face -_-

all because of that damned, cursed sushi i have spent my long awaited holidays squirming around on the bed trying to ease myself from the pain (in my stomach, abdomen and perhaps intestines?) and not studying and revising for mid years. the most infuriating of all would be that i have not completed my homework! to hell and damnation with sushi, you are officially blacklisted! if not for the fact that you do not have a head i would have gladly decapitated you. i am very thankful that i have stopped vomiting or i vow to curse you into extinction in my life.

watched step up 2 - the streeets - with my sister. it totally rocked. i am still very much amazed that people can dance like that. aren't they scared that their bones might break? love the short speech andie gave before her group went to dance outside in the rain and of course that dance. that was like the best of all in the movie. must watch.

chemistry spa on wednesday was totally cool, way better than physics spa in the least. other than me running out 20 minutes into the experiment feeling that i want to throw up, the rest was a breeze. hopefully the last spa will be the same and i will never need to worry about scoring badly. did the throwing up in the canteen after realising i forgot to bring the receipt to collect the handbell shirt. went home and to novena to collect the shirt after being half frozen waiting for everyone to have their lunch at kopitiam. hannah commented on why kopitiam was air-conditioned, which sangeeta pointed out earlier that kopitiam in singapore has progressed throughout the years xD the shirt is totally cool~~ can't wait to wear it.

spent thursday friday yesterday squirming around in bed. can't believe that sushi. hopefully i am well to go to school tomorrow with all my work completed and to give everyone their shirts, or they'll have my head.
